A helicopter remained submerged Friday in the Susquehanna River
near Marietta a day after it crashed, injuring three people during a
pilot training session.
Federal Aviation Administration investigators visited the crash
site Friday but won't be able to view the wreckage until it's removed
from the 14-foot-deep water, said Bob Stol, an FAA inspector and
accident investigator.
"An external lift from another helicopter will be used to raise
the wreckage from the water and place it on land," Stol said. "The
major resistance to accomplishing that will be the weather."
