For area candy and chocolate lovers, the first Lititz Chocolate
Walk offered lots of sweet treats and benefited children's services
as well.
The Chocolate Walk raised $1,300 for Schreiber Pediatric Rehab
Center of Lancaster County as well as $1,300 for children's reading
programs at Lititz Public Library.
Organizers were Lititz Kiwanis Club and Lititz Retailer's
Association, consisting of 120 Lititz businesses including Wilbur
Chocolate.
To participate, visitors purchased a button that entitled them to
sample chocolates and receive discounts at locations throughout
downtown Lititz.
Candy makers and confectioners from the region held demonstrations
and invited guests to taste chocolate coffee ...
