Article: Columbia's season ends with loss to Camp Hill

To most people in Central Pennsylvania, the high school football league that surrounds Harrisburg is the Mid-Penn.

To Columbia, it might as well be Mount Penn.

Because that's what it must look like to the Tide -- a tall, rugged mountain that's too steep to climb and impossible to conquer.

Columbia tried again Friday night, but the outcome remained the same. The Tide lost 19-8 to another Mid-Penn team in the District 3 Single-A football playoffs, and its season ended.

It was the ninth time that Columbia went up against a Mid-Penn team in Districts, and it was the eighth time that the Tide was washed ashore.
