Lancaster Crime Commission is taking it to the streets.

After weeks of expert testimony and finger-pointing by scholars, law enforcement and public officials, it's time for residents to offer suggestions and propose solutions to the city's crime problem.

The crime commission will hold four public meetings where commissioners will take crime-fighting suggestions from those who actually have to put up with the drug dealers and delinquents who plague their streets, crime commission vice chairman Al Lewis said Wednesday.

One meeting will be held in each of four sections of the city, using the intersection of King and Queen streets as the dividing axis.
