Article: Lancaster Mennonite, Locust Grove merge

Locust Grove Mennonite School and the much larger Lancaster Mennonite School have announced plans to merge.

In announcing the change today, school leaders said the move next summer will produce a better educational program and operating efficiences for the 1,600 students who are enrolled in the system's four schools.

This is the second recent merger for Lancaster Mennonite. The school consolidated with New Danville Mennonite School in July 2002.
