Article: Police seek suspect in Ephrata robbery; Man carrying gun threatens clerk

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at an Ephrata consignment shop.

The suspect -- described as a white male in his 30s about 5 feet 8 inches tall -- entered the Re-Uzit Shop, 20 E. Main St., shortly before 4 p.m.

Ephrata Borough police gave this account of the robbery:

While inside, the man asked the clerk about an article of merchandise and how much it cost. He followed the clerk to the counter and said, "I'm here to rob you. Give me the money or I may shoot you."

The female clerk asked the man, "Where's your gun?"
