By Sunday evening, the dugouts in Stauffer Park consisted of two big puddles. The first base line looked like a giant Slip 'n Slide, and the rest of the infield looked like a venue for mud wrestling.

Players this weekend splish-splashed their way through 48 hours of softball, and when each game ended, not a single player left the field wearing the same clean clothes they arrived in.

The conditions may not have been ideal, but the cause was well worth it.
