At one point during the Senior Awards Ceremony at Warwick High School on May 21, Ben Hess was told he might just want to keep standing.

Why go back to his seat, when he was going to be collecting 12 awards?

Ben, the son of Dave and Marty Hess, received these awards: A. Landis Brackbill Scholar Athlete, Dr. Joseph W. Grosh Scholarship, Good Citizenship Award, Lancaster County Historical Society, Lititz Lions Outstanding Math Student, Presidential Academic Award, The Scholarship Pillion, University of Notre Dame, U.S. Air Force Math and Science Award, U.S. Army National Scholar Athlete Award and U.S. Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award.
