Carmella Agnes "Clara" Aluisi, 72, wife of Francis J. Aluisi,
former chairman of the Prince George's County Board of
Commissioners, died of sepsis Nov. 6 at Villa Rosa Nursing Home in
Mitchellville after a series of strokes.
Mrs. Aluisi was born in Lambert, Pa., and had lived in Prince
George's since the 1930s. She was a graduate of Maryland Park High
School. She was a secretary in the Navy's Bureau of Yards and Docks
during World War II.
Her son, James Vincent Aluisi, is the sheriff of Prince
George's.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Catholic Church in
Forestville and was active with the Gateway Lion's Club.
