A few weeks ago, I wrote that Jerry Springer is the subject of a new opera in England. Well, call this the sequel. Jerry's legend is not only treading the boards of the opera stage, but the political one as well. It seems Springer is contemplating a run for the U.S. Senate, representing the great state of Ohio.

Ye gods and little fishes! It sounds like one of Springer's own shows: "People Who Exploit Unwed Stripper Moms on Television and Later Run For Office." And speaking of "The Jerry Springer Show," Springer admits his long-running TV trashfest could make things somewhat tricky should he toss his hat in the ring.
