What is the hurry to sell the Manheim Township sewer system?
We will never know the true market value of our system unless we
put it out for bids, allowing all interested parties to bid on it,
including LASA. Several months ago, our commissioners brought in a
gentleman to tell us why we should sell the sewer system. At that
time the question was asked "What will we do with the money we get
from the sale of the sewer system?" It was suggested by one of the
commissioners that the money from the sale of the system be used to
build the community center, library, etc.
