Editor, New Era:
Recently, in one of President Bush's speeches concerning the
terrorist attack two years ago, he addressed the nation and said
that, in America, "we value every life."
Looking at our response, one could assume that to be true. There
were heroes that day and after. The country got together and gave
blood and money. The attacks of Sept. 11 affected very many Americans
and took away our sense of safety.
