Article: Drumore project has Fulton officials worried; Fear planned shopping center would boost traffic

A controversial shopping center proposed for Drumore Township has Fulton Township officials concerned about the potential increased traffic that could result if the project is approved.

Drumore Crossing is proposed for 90 acres of Amish farmland in Drumore. The shopping center would produce 25,000 gallons of sewage per day and would include 370,000 square feet of retail stores and parking for more than 2,000 vehicles.

Fulton officials' traffic concerns include the impact the shopping center would have on Wakefield Ambulance and Robert Fulton Fire Company, both of which operate from the same location at Routes 222 and 272 in Wakefield.
