A two-day public auction held for the late Elvin and Martha
Hershey of 2715 Columbia Ave. drew more than 500 registered bidders
Aug. 1 and 2.
Two floating turtle paperweights sold for $425 and $400 at the
sale conducted by Witman Auctioneers Inc., Manheim.
Other items that sold included a Knox Gelatine black memorabilia
framed picture, $4,300; appliqud quilts, $1,100, $850 and $450; a
star quilt, $325; a twisted-rope leg, drop-leaf table, $850; a
Depression-era octagon table, $825; a rare print of a shepherd with a
flock, $775; a walnut, drop-leaf table, $500; a grained jelly
cupboard, $450; a leather corner ball, $400;
And a Pennsylvania Railroad red globe lantern, $350; three heart-
shaped ...
