Now I'm going to bore you to tears by addressing something no self-
respecting columnist would ever write about:
Sewers.
(See, I've lost respect for myself already.)
But this is a special case. This is about sewers in Manheim
Township, a community where, as we have seen time and time again,
there appears to be something in the water, if not the sewers, that
causes people to act strangely.
The latest manifestation of this is the conniptions people are
having over the fact that township commissioners want to sell the
aging sewer system to the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority for about
$32 million.
In most communities, people would read of this in the paper,
