In 1961 singer Patsy Cline met one of her biggest fans, Houston
housewife Louise Seger, and what began as an accidental meeting
blossomed into a lasting friendship.
"Always, Patsy Cline," now playing a limited, four-week engagement
at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, is the story of that meeting and the
relationship which began as fan worship and evolved into mutual
respect.
An avid fan ever since she first heard Cline in 1957 on "The
Arthur Godfrey Show," Seger hounded a local disc jockey to play
Cline's records on the radio.
In 1961, Cline was in Houston for a show. Seger and some friends
arrived about 90 minutes early and, by coincidence, met Cline, who
was traveling alone.
