Article: Barnes & Noble idea; F&M campus building to house bookstore, cafe

Franklin & Marshall College's bookstore is coming home to Distler House.

The Tudor-style building at the center of campus was built in 1891 to serve as a gymnasium. It has housed many F&M offices over the years, including the bookstore during the 1970s. Most recently, Distler functioned as a personnel office and campus hangout.

By fall semester, the bookstore and campus cafe will return to Distler. The $2.5 million renovation, which includes a glass atrium expansion, is well under way.
