So, is fly fishing headed for a dunking? And should we blame Brad
Pitt and that movie?
If you are a fly fisher in Lancaster County, you've never had as
many choices.
There are five shops sprinkled around the county where you can
pick up artificial flies or tippet material.
Lancaster County has two fly-fishing-only streams &tstr; three if
you count restored portions of Lititz Run managed by the Donegal
Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Yet, the fly-fishing boom cast by the 1992 hit movie, "A River
Runs Through It," is over and some fly-fishing aficionados fret about
the sport's future.
Some fly shops admit to declining business and some clubs are
finding it harder to muster hand-on stream ...
