Article: Official says it's time to gate Lakes Manor // West Lampeter supervisors hear traffic complaints, security concerns targeting Willow Valley complex

Increasing complaints of traffic problems associated with Willow Valley's Lakes Manor Peach Bottom Road entrance has one supervisor calling for erecting gates at the access drives to the sprawling complex for security and to ease traffic concerns.

West Lampeter supervisor Karl Ottolini, a resident of Willow Valley, said Aug. 9 the time has come to give consideration to gating Willow Valley Lakes Manor.

When Willow Valley officials proposed gating the Lakes Manor expansion during the planning stages nearly five years ago, the proposal was met with opposition from nearby residents and some township officials.

But Ottolini said it is time to re-evaluate the gating option.
