Several Lancastrians were integral to last weekend's successful
Pennsylvania State Sporting Clays Association State Championship at
Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club near Harrisburg.
More than 300 shooters participated, a record for the state shoot.
State association president Bryan Hynicka of Manheim is a longtime
hunter who shot trap and skeet recreationally.
Nine years ago he became involved with sporting clays and became
addicted, getting involved five years ago with the state association
as a delegate.
He has been president for three years and was just elected for
another two-year term because of his achievements.
