For the past 30 years, guitarist Pat Metheny has proven himself to be one of the true road-warrior musicians of modern times.

Metheny is one of only a handful of musicians who can fill large concert halls any day of the year. And from 1974 to1993, his bands averaged 230 shows a year. The guitarist claims that a 50-show excursion barely qualifies as a tour.
