PAID OBITUARIES
Clara M. Mendenhall Herr Clara M. Mendenhall Herr, 87,
formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday evening at Brunswick, at Longstown
Nursing Home, York, PA, where she had resided for the past three
years. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Mendenhall, Sr. and
the late David R. Herr.
Born in Columbia she was the daughter of the late John W. Markley
and Marie Nevin Markley Robinson. She retired from York Dentsply Co.
where she worked as a tooth driller for 25 years. She was a member of
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, York.
She is survived by: a son, Patrick J. husband of Eva (Bechtel)
Mendenhall of York; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and
