Article: City store rises from the ashes; Heavily damaged by fire in March, Remember This ... reopens on N. Queen

Eight months ago today, the Remember This ... store in Lancaster was covered in ashes.

Last week, signs of a fire were as absent as the newly painted walls were white.

Up and down the corridor-like showroom, sculpted crystal figurines sparkled with blues, greens, reds and yellows.

Determined not to let their business die with the flames, Bob and Patricia Randolph - with the help of insurance money and the goodwill of friends and fellow shop owners - reopened Remember This ... four weeks ago at 320 N. Queen St., its original site.

Many of the same figurines, bone china and Fenton and Crackle glass sold before the March 28 fire ravaged the business are back on the shelves.
