PAID OBITUARIESReverend Dr. Richard M. Rutter
The Reverend Dr. Richard M. Rutter, 88, passed away peacefully at
Luther Manor after a brief illness on December 28 in the year of our
Lord, 2004. A native of Lancaster, Pastor Rutter was born on
February 16, 1916. He was the son of Charles and Florence Marion
Rutter. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Dietsch Rutter;
two sons, Richard Jr., husband of Janice, Lancaster, and John,
husband of Deborah, Lititz; four grandchildren; twelve great
grandchildren and a brother, Charles of Lancaster.
Pastor Rutter was a graduate of Lancaster Public Schools in 1934;
Franklin & Marshall College in 1940; The Lutheran Theological
