With all three of their children grown and two of them out of the
house, George and Patty Chambers were ready for less yardwork and a
home with first-floor living.
After searching more than a year, they found what they wanted at
Meadow Creek Estates, a development of 48 town houses in Ephrata
Township, all with first-floor master suites.
Their new home, which they moved into Jan. 8, is a bit larger than
their previous residence in Manheim Township, but "the layout is much
better," said Mrs. Chambers, who works part time for Manheim Township
Parks and Recreation Department. Her husband is retired from Verizon.
