Article: Stevens College marks 100 years with soiree

The Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology will celebrate its 100th anniversary Friday with a gala featuring music, drinks and a visit from "The Great Commoner" himself.

Or, rather, an actor portraying Stevens will address the partygoers, said William Griscom, the college's president.

The semi-formal centennial gala will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on campus at the college's multi-purpose activity center.

Tickets for the event are $25 each, or $85 for two tickets and a copy of "Celebrating the Legacy: 100 Years of the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology."
