The Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology will celebrate its
100th anniversary Friday with a gala featuring music, drinks and a
visit from "The Great Commoner" himself.
Or, rather, an actor portraying Stevens will address the
partygoers, said William Griscom, the college's president.
The semi-formal centennial gala will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on
campus at the college's multi-purpose activity center.
Tickets for the event are $25 each, or $85 for two tickets and a
copy of "Celebrating the Legacy: 100 Years of the Thaddeus Stevens
College of Technology."
Three hundred people have signed up to attend so far, but space
remains, said Griscom. Interested people who have yet to register are ...
