Park City Center soon will be home to a hair salon that says it's
a cut above. MasterCuts will open in November in the mall's Kohl's
wing, Park City Center General Manager Rachel Gallagher said.
MasterCuts is a chain of casual, upbeat hairstyling centers that
usually are located inside malls. It's a division of salon giant
Regis Corp., which owns or franchises about 11,000 locations.
Minneapolis-based MasterCuts runs salons that are known for their low
prices, with no appointment necessary. MasterCuts is taking over
about 1,155 square feet in a vacant spot that the mall management has
been using for storage for the past five years or so. Before that, it
