One physical manifestation of Hillary Clinton's prominent role in
the new administration is the plan for her to maintain an office in
the West Wing, where the president's senior staff is clustered,
rather than in the East Wing where the First Lady's offices
traditionally are housed.
"Given that she's going to be one of his closest advisers and her
experience on some of the issues that are going to be the priorities
for his administration, it makes sense," said one transition aide.
"It's what's practical."
