In our view
The Intelligencer Journal receives dozens of thank-you letters on
a variety of topics from people every year. Thanksgiving Day is an
appropriate time to acknowledge people's thankfulness.. The idea for
this column of thanks came from the late Pat Cole, a journalist who
served as editorial assistant for the Intelligencer Journal. Pat
passed away in October 2000, but her suggestion that we use thank-
you letters as our Thanksgiving Day editorial carries on. t From
