Thanks to a city policeman's good memory, a Lancaster businessman got his stolen car back in about six hours

Shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, Officer Klete Griffin approached a car in the Manor Shopping Center in Lancaster Township to warn the driver about his loud stereo.

The car was a black 2004 Mazda sedan. As he talked to the driver and passengers, Griffin recalled a car of that description had been reported stolen Saturday afternoon from New Dorwart Street.
