Article: Lancaster Mennonite gets $2M gift

To be used for $12M academic center

Lancaster Mennonite School announced Friday it received a $2 million matching gift - the largest in the school's history - which it will use to help pay for a new academic center on its Lincoln Highway East campus.

Lancaster Mennonite Superintendent Richard Thomas announced the gift during a press conference at the school's fine arts center. The donors, who requested their names not be published, are married, and their grandchildren attended Lancaster Mennonite School, Thomas said.
