John M. Charles, 95, of Luther Acres, formerly of Landisville,
passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 after a brief illness. He was
the husband of Miriam Hartman Charles who died February 10, 1993. He
was born in Newton, Kansas, son of the late John D. and Amelia
Charles. He was an electrician, having worked for Elam Hershey
Electrical Contractor and retired from DM Stoltzfus and Sons Quarry
as the electrical maintenance person. A member of Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Landisville. He enjoyed and collected model cars and
model railroads. He is survived by one son: J. Ronald, married to
Doris Whitcraft Charles, Doylestown; one daughter: Janet, married to
Roger Mansoldo, Sedona, Ariz.; ...
