The Orioles hurler and McCaskey grad, who is recovering from arm
surgery, has slowed his delivery in hopes of improving his numbers.
JUPITER, Fla. - Don't let the numbers fool you. John Parrish is
happy.
Despite a 4.50 earned run average after three spring outings, the
relief pitcher from Lancaster says he's pleased with his progress on
the comeback trail with the Baltimore Orioles.
On Wednesday, Parrish allowed a bunt single and a run-scoring
single, threw a wild pitch and struck out two in the eighth inning as
the Orioles and the Marlins played to a 2-2, 10-inning tie.
Yet the former McCaskey star is optimistic as he battles back from
arm surgery.
