Warwick leads 16 local districts with rate of 98.4 percent.

Catch them before they fall behind in their studies, and offer them support if they face a crisis such as the death of a parent.

These tips are part of a recipe to keep students from quitting high school, and it's proving successful for Warwick and other county schools.

Warwick High School's Class of 2006 had the highest graduation rate - 98.4 percent - among the county's 16 public high schools, a recent state report shows.
