Article: Town meeting will include vote on override

Kingston voters will be the first in the Silver Lake Regional School District to be asked to approve a Proposition 2½ override for construction of a new regional middle school in Kingston.

The proposed municipal budget for fiscal 2003, a request for money to repair the Adams Library and acceptance of streets in the Tall Timber Estates subdivision also will be discussed during Kingston's annual town meeting, which is scheduled for 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Kingston Intermediate School.

One day may be enough, or the meeting could be extended to Monday or Tuesday evening. There are 37 articles on the warrant, but 11 have been withdrawn.
