QUINCY - A man in a black shirt presents a cigarette lighter to
the camera, bounces it like a hot potato high into the air and
catches it, lit.
The stunt is called the "holy volley," and detailed instructions
for performing that and other tricks are posted on a Zippo
Manufacturing web site. The webmaster for the site explains that the
page has not been updated recently because he has been away "allowing
my eyebrows to grow back out."
The National Fire Protection Association is not laughing. The
Quincy-based organization has been at the forefront of a monthslong
campaign to get Zippo to remove the site. "It's just a very
