NORWELL - It's Monday morning, and Jack Conway is spending some
rare time in his memorabilia-stocked office, going through the mail
with a handful of staff members.
There are donation requests to respond to, newspaper clippings to
be distributed to employees, newsletter topics to consider. It is the
mail stack of a busy man.
At 80, Conway is barely even taking weekends off, never mind
making retirement plans. Between the real estate company that carries
his name and his charitable pursuits - he returned from Peru, where a
church was built with $66,000 he raised here - the wiry, white-
haired Conway is in motion seven days a week and shows no sign of
