Article: Cultural council offers help with grants

PLYMOUTH - The Plymouth Cultural Council will hold a meeting to answer questions and to assist potential grant applicants at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at town hall.

The council's regular meeting will begin at 7:15.

Each year, the council receives money from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to fund grants for a variety of artistic and cultural projects that benefit Plymouth-area residents.

The council expects to receive about $10,000 from the state this year. The Plymouth Cultural Council will accept proposals from nonprofit groups, social service and community organizations, business associations, religious groups, public and private schools, and individuals.
