Ted Kennedy will never be president of the United States. But for
a couple of days, it's going to look like the state's senior senator
is president of Boston and the Democratic Party.
As the party gets ready to nominate fellow senator John Kerry a
little more than a week from now - at a convention that's in Boston
largely because Kennedy wanted it here - the 72-year-old Kennedy's
commanding presence will be on display like never before.
With more than 100 family members in attendance, he'll address the
delegates in prime time on the second night of the event, a day after
