Article: Braintree man faces new drug charges

BRAINTREE - A 36-year-old Braintree man has been arrested for the second time in a week on drug charges.

Michael A. Giammalvo was arrested last week when police busted up a local drug ring.

Deputy Police Chief Russell Jenkins said detectives Jeffrey Jernegan and Brian Cohoon were returning from Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham at about 11 a.m. yesterday when they spotted Giammalvo driving a Ford Crown Victoria about 90 mph and weaving in and out of traffic on Route 128.

Jernegan and Cohoon were familiar with Giammalvo from the drug investigation and knew that his license had been suspended.
