When the No. 25 Boston College football Eagles take the field at Bank of America Stadium tomorrow in the Continental Tire Bowl, they will have one central thought in mind: redemption. After losing arguably the program's most important game in 20 years with a shocking 43-17 home loss to Syracuse that evaporated an outright Big East title and BCS bowl berth, the Eagles want to exorcise those fresh, bitter memories with a victory to finish the 2004 season on a positive note. "You're only as good as your last performance, and we aren't very good right now," said head coach Tom O'Brien, whose team will play North Carolina (6-5) of the Atlantic Coast Conference at 1 p.m. ...
