DEDHAM - The parent company of Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Sandwich
Shops is counting on a new ownership group to ignite its growth plans
along the East Coast.
Boston-based private equity company Bunker Hill Capital bought a
controlling stake in Papa Gino's Holdings Inc., the companies said
yesterday. The deal marked the third change of ownership at Papa
Gino's since 1992.
Under the new owners, the company plans to open 50 company-owned
Papa Gino's and D'Angelo restaurants in New England during the next
three years, Papa Gino's company spokesman Michael McManama said. The
terms of the deal were not disclosed.
