Article: Cheesecake Factory's plan to open at Plaza to get hearing tonight

The planning board will continue its hearing tonight on whether to allow South Shore Plaza to expand and make way for a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. The popular upscale chain wants to build a 383- seat, 11,000-square-foot restaurant at the mall. The restaurant would be built in a corner between Filene's and Joe's American Bar and Grill. Currently located on the site is a flagpole, a window-front for Milton's clothiers and the entrance to a nail salon.
