Plimoth Plantation joins Smithsonian network

PLYMOUTH - When John McDonagh left the Smithsonian Institution to
take a job as executive director at Plimoth Plantation, one of the
first things he wanted to do was to link his former employer with his
current one.
McDonagh can cross that goal off his "to do" list. He received the
official word during the weekend that Plimoth Plantation has been
accepted as the latest museum affiliate of the Smithsonian. He
started trumpeting the news with banners at the museum's main
Plymouth site yesterday.
Plimoth Plantation joins a list of nearly 140 museums and other
organizations that are part of the Smithsonian Affiliations
program. ...
