For The Patriot Ledger
At my house, I celebrate Father's Day with my two sons. We spend
the day together, often doing something outside when the weather
cooperates. Once they start to get hungry, we break for a meal which
almost always involves grilling. For as long as I can remember, even
back to my own childhood with my Dad, grilling has always played a
major part in the celebration of Father's Day. Rather than the usual
burgers, steaks or BBQ chicken, my oldest son, 3-year-old Jameson,
and I like to make pizza. To me, pizza is a great way to introduce a
child to cooking. All children at this age love to mix and knead
dough, and what child can resist pizza?
We can, of course, get pizza ...
