It was warm and stuffy inside the Terra Brasili in Quincy Square, but the scores of patrons who stood shoulder-to-shoulder didn't appear to mind. Their eyes were glued to the television. Their beloved Brazilian national soccer team held a 1-0 lead in its World Cup opening match against Croatia. They yelled in fear with every Croatian rush, screamed with excitement as their stars made their own deep runs. They cheered as Ronaldo, a one-time national World Cup hero, now looking tired and heavy, was finally replaced midway through the second half with fresh legs.
