The Kingston Board of Health appears poised to seek an ethics investigation of one of its members.

Chairman Joseph Casna would only confirm that the board, during a public meeting Monday night, voted to look into a "credibility issue" involving a member. He would not elaborate on the wording of the motion or the subject of the query.

"We have questions as far as the actions of a member. The vote was to look into those actions and see whether they are appropriate," Casna said. "I don't think (the press) is the appropriate place to play this out."

Of the other four board members, only Dan Sapir could be reached for comment. He said the vote was in reference to him.
