Article: Black Knights revel in their big upset

The Stoughton High School football team pulled off a huge upset on the road with a 12-8 victory at North Attleboro in the Hockomock League.

"It was a really fierce game," Stoughton coach Greg Burke said. "We had our best hitting game. Beating them at home is almost impossible, but we did it."

The Black Knights fell behind early Friday night when NA's Elijah Harris scored on a 2-yard run.

The second half opened with Anthony LaCivita's 50-yard strike to Chris Russell that evened the score for the Black Knights at 6-6.

In the fourth quarter Stoughton was pushed deep into its own territory and North Attleboro forced a safety that gave the Red Rocketeers a two-point advantage.
