FOXBORO - New York Jets coach Eric Mangini learned his craft at
the foot of Bill Belichick, but he's not the only member of the Jets
organization who has honed his game by learning from the Patriots.
Quarterback Chad Pennington looks to New England's Tom Brady for
inspiration and information on handling adversity.
Brady and Pennington both entered the NFL via the 2000 draft,
Pennington as a first-round choice (No. 18 overall) who was supposed
to lift the Jets to league superiority. But it has been Brady, a
sixth-round choice, who has turned into the gold standard among
quarterbacks.
