Snug Harbor, a small business district in this seaside town, is a great place to escape to during a lunch break. For a leisurely lunch at a sidewalk cafe or a meal on the run, take Route 3 to Exit 10 and follow Route 3A north to Harrison Street, then turn right onto Washington Street. Park anywhere.

Cost: $12.39 for a crab cake, a cup of clam chowder, a lemon smoothie and a small pastry snack.
